PU Security Entrance Control & Revolving Doors is a newly formed product unit in ASSA ABLOY. We develop and maintain products such as revolving doors, speed gates, portals, and exit lanes. This product portfolio is used by our customers globally on a daily basis, and your role will be to both improve, as well as act as a visionary for our brand-new Revolving Door products!

What would you do as a Senior Mechanical Engineer

As Senior Mechanical Engineer within our R&D Team, you will spend your days doing mechanical design, as well as working with the technology roadmap.

Together with the commercial Product Manager you will create and maintain plans for the new products as well as for the installed portfolio. You will explore new technology or customer values and identify and recommend system improvements to improve the technical performance of our products.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

- Has approximately 5 years relevant working experience and has in depth understanding and hands-on experience in mechanical design.

- Has good knowledge of 3D-CAD (Preferably Solidworks), Design calculations, Dfx, and production methods.

- Has a good understanding of complex multifunctional global projects

For this position, interpersonal skills are highly valued. As a person, you are curious and willing to learn. You can communicate complex procedures as well as having commercial and business awareness.

This is a great next step for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who wants to continue working with mechanical design and is able to structure and visualize plans and roadmaps.

Dina ansvarsområden
Ansvaret för att driva el- och automationsområdet i våra projekt.
Arbeta med funktionsdesign och automation.
Delta i diverse komponenttestning, fabrikstester samt Factory Acceptance Test.
Delta under idrifttagning och Site Acceptance Test.
Skapande av kvalitetsdokument så som provningsprotokoll, funktionsbeskrivningar etc.
Kunskap inom styrsystemsprogrammering, HMI och industriell kommunikation.
Kännedom gällande komponentval och elkonstruktion

Din bakgrund
Vi letar efter en person som är driven och målinriktad, som trivs med ansvar
Du har eftergymnasial utbildning, yrkeshögskola/Högskola eller liknade arbetserfarenhet
Vi ser gärna att du har ett antal års arbetslivserfarenhet, gärna beträffande Projektarbete inom el eller automation
Vi ser att du har erfarenhet av industriell el och automation
Viktig aspekt är att du har drivkraften att utvecklas och lära dig mer, tekniskt och projektdrivning

THE ROLE

This is a chance to have a direct impact on the product life cycle management of one of the world’s most innovative and sustainable companies! In this role, you will work in the Product Life Cycle (PLC) team, which is part of the global innovation organization, and you will collaborate closely with Quality, Sourcing and Production, as well as with your Innovation colleagues in the  New Product Development team and Technology Development team. You will report to the PLC manager and be based at Oatly in Landskrona. You will be part of a global growth journey in a company with creative thinking and innovative products. At Oatly you will have the opportunity to lead product improvements and product maintenance projects with two of their most important values in mind, sustainability and health. You will have high expectations to quickly get in the role and take ownership based on your previous experience. But you will not be alone, our awesome team is there to get you started.




Responsibilities
 WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead and participate in product improvement and product maintenance projects such as:


Production process upgrades
Capacity increase projects such as co-packer implementations and start-up of new Oatly-owned factor
Introducing new ingredients and other minor recipe changes 
Implementing new packaging solutions and new packaging sizes
You will plan, execute and follow up product performance from lab and pilot scale to full scale factory trials and factory start-ups. 

You will be working in Landskrona as well as at copackers and Oatly factories internationally. You will thus travel regularly, 30-50 days per year. 

Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE  

You are a very knowledgeable food and/or process engineer with relevant experience in food processing. You find it inspiring to work with people and you naturally take initiatives, solve problems and strive to deliver results. You prefer to work in a structured way but enjoy working on many kinds of projects. We believe you are a self-motivated person with the ability to plan and execute efficiently and with high quality. To be successful you need to be communicative and responsive with a distinct and transparent communication style. We believe that you will enjoy contributing to the growth of Oatly with your experience and knowledge.


We hope to see that you check the following boxes:


Master of science degree within food science, food technology, biotechnology or chemical engineering.
At least 5 years of product and process development experience from food industry.
Deep knowledge within food chemistry and food processing technology. Plant-based dairy and/or dairy technology knowledge is a great advantage. 
Experience from working in complex projects with many stakeholders, all the way from idea to final product.
Good networking and stakeholder management skills.
We see that you have excellent English skills, verbally and written. It is a great advantage if you also know Swedish.

THE ROLE

As a project product manager you have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and run projects that contribute to the overall growth of the Oatly company. This will be multifunctional and complex projects, related to launching new categories of products, or complex NPD launches, from the manufacturing and supply chain scope.

You will be the one to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as using more general management skills. Key duties will be bringing different experts together, in order to deliver a robust proposal and recommendation to take the right strategic decisions on executive level.

Doing so by connecting all the different processes and department in to one scope and project. Creating buy in in the organization, from down to top level. Eliminating the silo thinking mindset. You will have the chance to be the bridge, bringing people together to work towards common goals and deliverables. Processes and departments involved are Innovation, Sourcing, Technology, Finance, Commercial, Production and Supply chain.

This position could be based remote from Sweden, but will then require travel to Sweden 1-2 times a month once this is possible again.

WHO YOU ARE

- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management
