For the R&D department at SWEP - Landskrona, we are looking for someone to take on the position as Systems Manager!

They are driving the conversion to sustainable energy usage in heat transfer, dedicated to constantly creating more from less, regarding energy, material and space. SWEP is growing at a fast pace, expanding operations globally and also locally in Landskrona. With new headquarters and production facilities they want to enable more entrepreneurial minds to do more to make an impact on the environment. The R&D department at SWEP consists of highly competent co-workers, dedicated to designing and developing innovative products. They are now strengthening their team within R&D, responsible for driving the digital transformation.
The position is based in Landskrona and you will work closely with your colleagues locally within R&D, but also globally in China, Malaysia, US and Slovakia. In this position you will report to R&D Design Manager.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Gather information and understanding of business needs, translating these to system solutions and securing availability and efficiency for several company critical systems.
- Lead the R&D Systems team, operationally and tactically on the digital transformation journey that SWEP is on, securing alignment with roadmap.
- Secure knowledge sharing and growth within the team as well as succession planning for future expansion.
- Work closely with other business functions within SWEP and their owning company Dover, as well as external service providers and partners.
- Be responsible for the communication and collaboration within R&D Systems and other internal functions.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Bachelors degree och equivalent within the fields of computer science, information technology or engineering.
- Previous experience from working with Product Configuration software and/or ERP, CAx, PIM/PDM.
- Previous managerial experience, either from leading teams and/or projects.
- Experience of working with engineering software is advantageous.
- Fluent verbal and writing skills in English.
Some of the software that SWEP is currently running is Oracle EBS, Teamcenter PLM , Inventor and CATIA.
