What will you do?

You will be responsible for and build up an organization for sourcing, manufacturing and assembly of wing sails. Today we are assembling our first two prototypes in Landskrona. To meet future needs we need to expand here. In parallel we shall develop suppliers and assembly in Asia where the large growth will take place. You will collaborate with the Global Sourcing organization within Alfa Laval but also build our own dedicated organization within Oceanbird.



You will report to the Managing Director of Oceanbird.



Key responsibilities:

This is a consulting assignment. You will be employed by Centio Consulting Group AB and work as a consultant.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close cooperation with the customer, which places great demands on flexibility and ability to cooperate.

Role Summary:

Lead, manage and continuously develop purchasing policies, category- and supplier-strategies including supplier base management of the suppliers within the segment for the category to ensure material supply at optimal quality, cost and delivery performance.

Job Description

The work is remote right now so you can live anywhere in Sweden. However, it is good if you can travel to the office in Landskrona sometimes.

You will also be developing and executing effective supply management strategies and understanding market and supplier risk profiles and recommending/implementing strategies to reduce risk and ensure continuity of supply while maintaining/improving competitiveness. You will also take an active role in the divisional Sourcing Management Team, that today consists of seven people located globally, contributing to the overall development of the sourcing and procurement practices within the group, including defining and developing KPIs for the category.

Other tasks include:

* Strategical key supplier management such as quarterly business reviews, supplier scorecard program, supplier agreements and initiatives to drive improvements in cost, quality, delivery, working capital for the category, etc.
* Drive category specific benchmarking and negotiate the best terms and actively work to increase the divisions expertise in the Category to secure long term cost leadership.
* Drive and coordinate sourcing strategy and consolidation activities and projects across entities and functions.



Who we are looking for
