About the job

The Production Engineer (PE) plays a key role in planning and executing our manufacturing processes within a project-based environment. The PE leads daily operations, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and ensures that production runs efficiently, safely, and according to plan. Given that our products are large, heavy, and logistically demanding, this role requires a hands-on mindset, a deep understanding of safe material handling, and the ability to develop smart workflows for complex production. Additionally, the PE will be responsible for implementing Lean practices and creating a structured, high-performing site.

This position reports to the Operations & Supply Chain Manager.





What will you do?

*

Plan and coordinate production activities in line with customer order requirements and project milestones.

*

Lead and develop the production team in daily operations and secure resources for production.

*

Develop routines for safety, workflow and continuous improvement.

*

Support the site manager regarding the site related contracting.

*

Design and optimise production layout for large-scale manufacturing.

*

Create and manage production orders and related documentation.

*

Ensure and develop procedures to secure high production quality and safety.

*

Drive implementation of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.

*

Identify and lead improvement projects in workflow, safety, and efficiency.

*

Collaborate with R&D, Sourcing and Quality teams, as well as HSE.

*

Support and train operators in processing changes and improvements.



Who are you?

*

Technical education at university level in production engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.

*

Solid experience from manufacturing or assembly of large and complex products.

*

Knowledge of heavy lifting, logistics, and production safety.

*

Experience with Lean, 5S, and structured production development.

*

Comfortable using ERP systems and production planning tools.

*

Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Swedish is preferred.

*

Hands-on, safety-minded, and team-oriented.

*

Driver's license (B) preferred.

At Öresund Drydocks in Landskrona, we are renting premises where we are assembling our wingsails. We are currently assembling our first prototype which shall be installed on land and be used to verify the functionality.



What will you do?

As Working Foreman, you will plan and handle the daily activities at our site in Landskrona. We collaborate closely with contractors from the yard, and you will have a leading role in coordinating with them as well as internal stakeholders. You will specify, supervise and quality assure the work consisting of assembly, welding etc. You will be the go-to person who makes everything work and you spend most of the time outside the office. Safety is of high importance, and you will make sure we always are working in a safe way.

Key responsibilities:

*

Health & safety at the Landskrona site.
*

Plan and coordinate ongoing work at the site with internal and external resources.
*

Document performed work.
*

Handle logistics and storage of components.
*

Quality assurance.
*

Collaborate with R&D and contribute to future development.
*

Test and operate the equipment.
*

Take care of our rented premises at the yard.
*

Take care of internal and external visitors.



Who are you?

Vad kommer du att göra?
Oceanbird går nu in i realiseringsfasen av våra vingsegel. Under nästa år kommer vi att testa våra första fullskaliga prototyper och samtidigt förbereda oss för att gå in i en kommersiell fas med fokus på att få ut vingseglet på marknaden.
Oceanbird söker en självgående servicetekniker till vår anläggning i Landskrona, där vi monterar och testar de första fullstora vingseglen. Du kommer att vara en del av ett litet team, där du har uppgifter som montering, service, testning och hantering av komponenter. Du kommer också att utföra service på vingseglet vid vår första fartygsinstallation.


I denna roll kommer du att:
Montera och utföra service på hydrauliksystem.
Stötta och övervaka montering och tillverkning hos våra lokala leverantörer.
Montera och utföra service på sensorer och styrutrustning.
Delta i och genomföra funktionstester.
Stötta vid olika systemtester och agera som “superanvändare” av vingseglet under systemdemonstrationer och besättningsutbildning.
Utföra service ombord på vår första fartygsinstallation.
Ta emot och inspektera varor.



Vem är du?
För att lyckas i denna roll bör du ha:
Troligen arbetat som servicetekniker eller liknande med komplexa produkter. Du är bekant med mekanisk montering, hydraulik och styrsystem.
Ett genuint tekniskt intresse.
En problemlösande inställning.
Kunskap i att läsa ritningar, både elektriska och mekaniska.
Vara lösningsorienterad och organiserad.
Goda kommunikationsfärdigheter.
Förmåga att arbeta med många olika uppgifter parallellt.
Flytande svenska och engelska.
Erfarenhet från marinindustrin är meriterande.
Ett intresse för hållbarhet och en vilja att bidra till en bättre framtid.

Vad kommer du att göra?

Oceanbird går nu in i realiseringsfasen av våra vingsegel. Under nästa år kommer vi att testa våra första fullskaliga prototyper och samtidigt förbereda oss för att gå in i en kommersiell fas med fokus på att få ut vingseglet på marknaden.



Oceanbird söker en självgående servicetekniker till vår anläggning i Landskrona, där vi monterar och testar de första fullstora vingseglen. Du kommer att vara en del av ett litet team, där du har uppgifter som montering, service, testning och hantering av komponenter. Du kommer också att utföra service på vingseglet vid vår första fartygsinstallation.



I denna roll kommer du att:

*

Montera och utföra service på hydrauliksystem.

*

Stötta och övervaka montering och tillverkning hos våra lokala leverantörer.

*

Montera och utföra service på sensorer och styrutrustning.

*

Delta i och genomföra funktionstester.

*

Stötta vid olika systemtester och agera som "superanvändare" av vingseglet under systemdemonstrationer och besättningsutbildning.

*

Utföra service ombord på vår första fartygsinstallation.

*

Ta emot och inspektera varor.



Vem är du?

För att lyckas i denna roll bör du ha:

*

Troligen arbetat som servicetekniker eller liknande med komplexa produkter. Du är bekant med mekanisk montering, hydraulik och styrsystem.

*

Ett genuint tekniskt intresse.

*

En problemlösande inställning.

*

Kunskap i att läsa ritningar, både elektriska och mekaniska.

*

Vara lösningsorienterad och organiserad.

*

Goda kommunikationsfärdigheter.

*

Förmåga att arbeta med många olika uppgifter parallellt.

*

Flytande svenska och engelska.

*

Erfarenhet från marinindustrin är meriterande.

*

Ett intresse för hållbarhet och en vilja att bidra till en bättre framtid.

What will you do?

Oceanbird is now moving into the realization phase of our wing sails. During the years to come, we will test our first full-scale prototypes and at the same time prepare for moving into a commercial phase with focus on getting the wing sail out on the market.

Oceanbird is looking for a self-going Service technician for our site in Landskrona. Here we will assemble and test the first full-size wing sails. You will be part of the team with various tasks such as assembly, test and handling of goods. You will also perform service of the wing sail on our first ship installation.

In this role, you will:

*

Assemble and do service on hydraulic system.
*

Support and supervise assembly and manufacturing by our local suppliers.
*

Assemble and do service on sensors and control equipment.
*

Participate and run functional tests.
*

Support in performing various system tests and act as a "superuser" of the wing system during system demonstrations and crew education.
*

Performance service on board our first ship installation.
*

Receive and do inspection of goods.
*

Look after our equipment.





Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you should have:

*

Most likely been working as a service technician or similar with complex products. You are familiar with mechanical assembly, hydraulics and control systems.
*

A genuine technical interest.
*

Have a problem-solving mindset.
*

Knowledge in reading drawings, both electrical and mechanical.
*

Solution driven and organized.
*

Good communication skills
*

Able to work with many different tasks in parallel.
*

Fluent in Swedish and English.
*

Marine experience is a merit.
*

An interest in sustainability and a willingness to contribute to a better future.

AlfaWall Oceanbird AB is a 50/50 joint venture, owned by Alfa Laval and Wallenius but operated as an independent company. We are developing wing sail technology for the global shipping market and are now looking for a Site Manager for our new test facility in Landskrona.

Work description

Oceanbird shall establish a development and test site at Oresund Drydock in Landskrona. We will assemble and test a full-scale prototype of our wing sail during 2023-24. The first prototype will be used for test and development continuously in the future. We will also pre-assemble the first on-board prototype for installation in 2024.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for all activities at our site in Landskrona.  You will lead the assembly work and ensure that the work is done in a correct and safe way. You will have a leading role in collaboration with the yard and internal stakeholders and take care of internal and external visitors in a representative way.

Your main responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for health & safety at the test site.
* Responsible for our rented premises at the yard.
* Handle logistics of components.
* Manage assembly work of the wing sail.
* Ensure a good collaboration with the yard and external contractors.
* Cooperation with R&D and Product Management.
* Test and operate the equipment.
* Take care of internal and external visitors.
* Training of crew and engineers.

Who are you?
* You have at least 10 years marine experience, preferably also from yard.
* Experience in assembly, automation, and maintenance of large equipment.
* Act as a leader; you are structured and a good planner.
* Strong team player, you thrive working together with other people and competences in reaching a common goal.
* An outgoing attitude and enjoy taking new contacts and find solutions.
* Fluent in Swedish and English.
