SWEP is looking for a chemical engineer or similar with interest in energy technology.
Mainly based in Landskrona
What you will be doing
As a part of the Application Management team you will work with colleagues in Landskrona, Paris and Kosice. Together with Segment Management you will combine system and component knowledge to drive technical expertise within different applications. You will be engaged in technical support and expertize for Heat exchangers applications as well as participating/driving different projects, both new development and application projects. You will also provide technical training and develop associated training material. Driving knowledge capturing/sharing for selected applications and competence areas is also within your responsibility.
The role involves some travelling to customers together with our sales reps and to exhibitions world-wide.
Your background
You have knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics and possess fluent written and spoken English.
•A Master’s in Chemical, Physics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
•Knowledge in materials, water chemistry and/or corrosion chemistry
•Knowledge and experience in driving technical projects
•A few years of relevant experience
•Experience of energy systems or laboratory work is valuable

Here’s what you would do:

As a Global Engineering PMO Lead, you will be driving the development and performance of the total Engineering project portfolio.
The role is reporting to Global Engineering PMO Manager and is placed in Landskrona.


As a Global Engineering PMO Lead you’ll mostly be focusing on:

Creating transparency across project portfolio to surface and resolve systemic issues, manage interdependencies across projects and portfolios, and provide guidance and structure for project managers.

Besides overseeing the Engineering project portfolio, the role is also responsible to develop and maintain the way of working for Engineering projects globally, together with regional Engineering PMO Directors.

More in detail, the role is resposible for:

- Ensuring the successful development of projects, on time and within budget, supporting the Engineering project portfolio management

- Driving Engineering PMO process and facilitate meetings, maintaining Engineering PMO templates and dashboards

- Securing transparency across project portfolio to surface and resolve systemic issues, communicating project scope, expectations, success criteria and progress against milestones to regional/local Engineering Directors and/or project managers and other stakeholders, on a regular basis

- With the support of the Oatly Project Management system; responsible for collecting, compiling, and reporting on project and portfolio progress dashboards - in accordance with corresponding meeting cadence

- Support escalation of issues with great impact on the business and/or other strategical functions outside Engineering scope

- Creating a collaborative atmosphere in the Engineering project portfolio structure

- Follow up on stage gate process and progress, training Engineering steerco members

- Be part of the last phase of the implementation and project roll-out of the Oatly Project Management system (Planview), acting as a Expert user to the Engineering organization.

Here’s the kind of experience, qualities, and approach that
we’re looking for in the role:

Senior Engineering Project Management experience within Food/Pharma/other regulated industries, with understanding of critical path scheduling and supervision of it.

Experience of driving and delivering Engineering project portfolio

Experience of leading cross-functional and cross-company teams.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Structured with demonstrated knowledge of how to measure success in quantitative as well as qualitative terms.

Self-motivated and willing to take initiatives to secure success.

Natural approach to stakeholder engagement, supporting and coaching in leading the way forward, gaining trust and providing clarity

Comfortable with ambiguity with a track record to secure the process of building something lasting from the ground up.

Experience with clear and concise communication of project metrics, utilizing MS Office, and project management tools such as MS Project and Planview

Fluency in English both verbally and in writing is a prerequisite.

Master of Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities
THE ROLE
As a project product manager you have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and run projects that contribute to the overall growth of the Oatly company. This will be multifunctional and complex projects, related to launching new categories of products, or complex NPD launches, from the manufacturing and supply chain scope.

You will be the one to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as using more general management skills.  Key duties will be bringing different experts together, in order to deliver a robust proposal and recommendation to take the right strategic decisions on executive level.

Doing so by connecting all the different processes and department in to one scope and project.  Creating buy in in the organization, from down to top level.  Eliminating the silo thinking mindset. You will have the chance to be the bridge, bringing people together to work towards common goals and deliverables. Processes and departments involved are Innovation, Sourcing, Technology, Finance, Commercial, Production and Supply chain.

This position could be based remote from Sweden, but will then require travel to Sweden 1-2 times a month once this is possible again. 

Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
To be happy and succeed in the role, we hope to see you check the following boxes:

• Education in food technology or correlative relevant field
• Experience in food production and FMCG
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record in similar type of projects
• Broad business knowledge, understanding business triggers and processes
• Good balance of technical, financial and commercial knowledge and experience
• Fluent in English, oral and written
