- Lead and participate in new product development projects internally and with external partners - from idea to launch, always ensuring great taste and functionality.

- Contribute with product technology knowledge within Oatly and monitor trends and innovative solutions within food technology

- Cooperate closely with the commercial, quality, sourcing and production teams and of course with other parts of the Innovation organization

- Travel to different markets, sites, and collaboration partners



Are you the oatsome person we are looking for???

- Master of science degree within food science, food technology, biotechnology, chemical engineering, agriculture or similar education

- +3 years of product development experience from the food industry

- Plant-based dairy and/or dairy technology knowledge is a great advantage

- Great networker and communication skills

Role description:

Provide internal and external customer support (e.g. technical, order assistance, payment-related assistance) and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction. Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g. order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After- Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.
You will also help customers with questions within for example spare parts orders, also about warranty handling, continuously update the customer register and technical support.

About you:

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a degree or masters in relevant field within tech, example within engineering. You have 2-6 years of experience working within a similar role. THE ROLE

THE ROLE

This is a chance to build and lead a world-class Innovation pilot plant and lab organization for technology and product development on EMEA level. WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are looking for a Pilot Plant and food lab manager to build, own and lead our verification and validation approach for technologies and products. Doing so you will have the privilege of leading a growing team of laboratory technicians and process engineers. You will need to develop and grow your team, the support capability and the facilities simultaneously. Today, we have 4 full-time employees, a pilot plant, a food lab and a test kitchen in Landskrona; tomorrow we will have twice the lab space, a new improved pilot plant and new, additional lab facilities in the Malmö office. You and the team will implement new improved ways of working, such as new verification and validation standards and test methods, including analytical chemistry methods. You will keep a holistic mindset and always be one step ahead with new ideas on how to improve and how to provide the development projects with what they need to deliver the best results. An important part of your mission is to recruit and onboard a specialist in sensory methods and an analytical chemist. You will also be in lead of the rebuilding and extension of our verification and validation facilities: laboratories, pilot plant, test kitchen and other workplaces. You will be a key player together with an amazing team and your mission will be to support the Innovation organization in the best way possible, to make us faster and more efficient and ensure that our products are always world class.

THE ROLE

As a Laboratory Engineer in the Technology Development team, you will participate in the development of the technology behind our tasty and nutritional products. You will support the rest of the group in the laboratory with your analytical competencies but will also run your own development projects where you plan, execute and report on experiments related to scientific questions regarding Oatly processes or products, current or future. You will also have the chance to prepare and analyse samples using different analytical methods, such as colorimetric assays or chromatography. Troubleshooting to improve and develop analytical protocols will also be part of your duties.

WHO YOU ARE

To thrive and be happy in this role, we believe that you have the following experience:

- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar
- Fluent in English


We will be even happier if you bring hands-on experience from working independently in a chemical laboratory or similar, preferably with analytical chemistry and HPLC systems. Knowledge in analytical chemistry in general will be a plus. It is also positive if you know some Swedish, at least on a social level.
