Your Future
Based at our service station in Landskrona, Sweden, and reporting to the service manager, you are responsible that the Swedish Service Department delivers high quality and cost efficient services to our customers by:
Plan, prepare, dispatch and follow-up service jobs done by our own staff and sub-contractors
Support service engineers with your technical expertise
Take an active part in developing the way we work, both regarding processes and equipment
Maintenance of workshops and equipment, including calibration,
Performing service jobs yourself when needed
Take part in preparing financial budget for the department
Take part in setting goals and KPI:s for the department
Take part in exhibitions and customer meetings
Prepare standard quotations for service jobs and spare parts, and
Prepare sales orders for Fleet Agreement Customers' contracted services each year.


Your History
For a successful day at work, you MUST have:
Minimum 10 years experience of LSA- and FFA servicing
Worked as LSA and FFA in-field service engineer for at least 5 years
Attended and have been certified according OEM:s established training program for LSA servicing (certification must not be valid)
In-depth knowledge of SOLAS II and III, and the FFA- and LSA-Code respectively
At least a B Sc or B Eng diploma, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
Drivers license for car.


It is a great advantage if you also possess:
Skills in inspection of Lifting Equipment
Skills in Non-Destructive Testing
Skills in Life Raft servicing
Skills in Business Administration

What do you need to be successful in our company?
- Practical background as a mechanical technician/engineer. Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical experience is also a merit. Focus laying on the mechanical.
- Experience of the maritime field
- As the industry uses English as working language, you need to have a very good understanding of the English language, both oral and written.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Ability to work at heights and a good physique as heavy physical work is not uncommon
- Driving license B is required. Higher is a merit.
- Ability to work weekends, nights and to go on a project on very short notice.
- Ability to work on your own, and also in team with other Marinspectors
- Very good social skills for cooperating smoothly with the crew, colleagues and for representing our company in the field.

Job Description:
- To carry out repairs, service and inspection of LSA and lifting equipment according to relevant legislation and company policies
- To prepare for jobs and to ensure that spare parts are available and other requirements are met.
- To issue service reports in English from each job carried out
- To prepare the invoicing documentation
- To report to the Project Manager and the customer when the job is completed and when/or problem occurs.
- To report to the Project Manager any incidents, near misses, anomalies, deviations, discrepancies in the job preparation, job execution, documentation or communication.
