Arbetsbeskrivning:
Bygga, modifiera och anpassa produktionsutrustning och fixturer
Läsa och tolka ritningar för både mekanik och automation
Delta i tekniska förbättringsprojekt och optimering av produktionsflöden
Stödja vid driftsättning av ny utrustning eller maskiner
Arbeta med styr- och reglerteknik såsom installation och justering av sensorer, ventiler och styrsystem kopplat till maskin- och processtyrning
Konstruktion i CAD – om du har kunskapen eller vill utveckla den

Kvalifikationer:
Erfarenhet från industriproduktion, gärna fordonsbranschen.
Gedigen praktisk erfarenhet av mekanik, t.ex. svetsning, fräsning, montering.
Förmåga att läsa och förstå tekniska ritningar (mekanik/el/automation)
Ett tekniskt driv och intresse för att förbättra och utveckla
Erfarenhet av att arbeta med styr- och reglerteknik i industrimiljö
Intresse för CAD och konstruktion – du behöver inte vara expert, men vilja utvecklas

En problemlösare som tar initiativ och hittar praktiska lösningar på tekniska utmaningar
En lagspelare med god samarbetsförmåga, som trivs i dialog med både produktion och teknik

We need your experience to launch a new production site in Indianapolis US.
A new role/position at ALFDEX in Landskrona, Sweden.
Your initial task will be to design, plan and set up the manufacturing line for our electrical drive unit. You will be an important part of our global production development team.

About the position
As production engineer you will be a part of the global production development team (developing our manufacturing systems in Sweden, China, and USA).
The position is based in Landskrona, Sweden.
The position includes traveling, not the least when it comes to setting up our facility in the US.
A lasting employment, starting as soon as possible.
Primary work tasks
Lead the establishment of the entire production system for electrical motor assembly - from layout and design to equipment selection and installation.
Primarily for the production site in Indianapolis – US, and later globally.
Develop and implement manufacturing processes focusing on efficiency and quality.
Source and qualify equipment suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop comprehensive training programs for production staff, ensuring a smooth knowledge transfer during production system launch.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes and procedures.
Your background - must have
Engineer or having the work experience to fully weigh up for it, preferably in
mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Swedish and English preferably, but English is a must.
Proven experience in setting up and launching production systems, preferably in
electrical motor assembly or a related industry.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Experience of quality control methodologies and tools.
Your background - good to have
Experience from the automotive industry.
Experience in mechatronics.

Job description
As Alfdex's new test engineer, you will have a varied and stimulating role in our department for Quality Engineering! You plan, carry out and report specification testing for our customer applications and also work with the development and maintenance of our test equipment.
In the role of test engineer with us, you will have great freedom under responsibility: you structure, plan and carry out your own work, and go from the technical work in the workshop to being representative at the customer meeting. Both technical drive and flexibility are required here!
Your contact points are both in your team in Landskrona and at our sites in Tumba and China, for which we carry out trials and tests.
This is a role for you with a solid knowledge base in mechatronics, and who thrives in working close to the customer.
About you
To be successful in the role of test engineer with us at Alfdex, we see that you have a post-secondary education as an engineer in mechatronics or another related field. The work requires knowledge in both electrical and mechanical fields, and it is important that you have both parts with you. In addition, we want you to have at least a few years of experience from a similar role, which has given you the skills to read and understand customer specifications, an understanding of different types of measuring equipment, and the habit of creating test plans.
Furthermore, we see it as strongly meritorious if you have basic knowledge in PLC programming or other experience in automation.
It is important that you enjoy both the technical and administrative aspects, and that you find it fun and rewarding to work close to customers and conduct dialogue with both customers and suppliers. As a person, we also believe that you would describe yourself as structured and independent, and you work well in roles where you plan your own work. As you become part of a small group where you work closely together, it is also important that you are a cooperative team player, who understands that you help each other at peak workloads.
If you have worked in the automotive industry and have knowledge of systems for vehicle communication, we see it as meritorious, but it is not a requirement. The primary thing is who you are, and that you feel this is the right role and industry for you to grow in!
