The Dock / Transport Department is responsible, among other things, for receiving vessels in dock or at quay, that the expectations from our customers and our own organization regarding docking, transport, lifting and waste management are handled in a good way.
At the Dock / Transport department, four formen and 7 operators are employed. It is the task of the formen to plan what resources are required in the department for each project. As a dock operator, you perform the tasks assigned. An important task is to participate during planning and execution of docking and undocking of vessels in our docks.
You must enjoy working in an international environment at a high pace where new things happen every day. You have no problem with us having irregular working hours. You are stimulated by finding solutions to problems and you put the customer at the centre.
Your competence/Experience:
You have worked with similar tasks on a repair yard.
Knowledge of ship movement operations and activities.
Understanding of docking plans and execute the block setting according to plan.
Knowledge of the ordinances, policies and procedures affecting mooring operations.
Plans and oversees the dry-docking of vessels in graving docks or floating docks.
The language you need to master is English in speech and writing.
The service is a full-time permanent position and must be appointed as soon as possible. Visa mindre

Oresund DryDocks AB is looking for dock operators for our Dock / Transport department.
 
The Dock / Transport Department is responsible, among other things, for receiving vessels in dock or at quay, that the expectations from our customers and our own organization regarding docking, transport, lifting and waste management are handled in a good way.
 
At the Dock / Transport department, a department head, a supervisor “transport” and two Supervisors “dock” plus 13 operators are currently working, and we will expand with two more dock operators. It is the task of the supervisors to plan what resources are required in your department for each project. As a dock operator, you perform the tasks assigned. An important task is to participate during planning and execution of docking and undocking of vessels in our docks.
 
You must enjoy working in an international environment at a high pace where new things happen every day. You have no problem with us having irregular working hours. You are stimulated by finding solutions to problems and you put the customer at the centre.

The language you need to master is English in speech and writing.
The service is a full-time permanent position and must be appointed as soon as possible.
